Thelma Alice Conners (Burnie)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 19, 2026 at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Reginald Conners, by her daughters Judy Smith (Carl), Thelma Knapp (George), Ellen Deschambault (Jeff), Donna Fullarton {Bob) and son Paul {Shelley). Her grandchildren David, Clayton (Christina), Kate, Daniel (Claire), Michael, Tayler, Megan (Dan), Allison and Christopher {Katherine). Her great-grandchildren Felicity, Clairese, Morgan, Nicholos, Kathleen, Brendon, Mitchell, Mackenzie, Carter, Greyson and Violet. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Hall (Arno) and sister-in-law Norma Throop (Jr). Predeceased by her grandson Troy (in infancy), her parents John and Idena Burnie, her sisters Helen Groskroft (Beris), Beatrice Smith {Ron), Lila Fawcett {Deb) and brothers Don (Lois), William (Lorna) and Stan (Ella). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal, on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 until time of the service at the Funeral Home at 1:30pm. Donations to the Pittston United Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
