Andrew Ralph Douglas Lawrence

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Wilma Lawrence (nee Crowder).  Loving father of Doug (Anne) Lawrence, Debbie Lawrence (Peter), Bill (Sandra) Lawrence, Barbara (Randy) Rees, Dale Lawrence (Patti).  Treasured grandfather of Steven (Kelly), Drew (Ashley), Michael (Nathalie), Adam (Tiffany), Chelsea (Jordan), Michelle (Matt), Meghan (Joel), Alex (Laura).  Great grandfather of Cameron, Kaleb, Addison, Ben, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Allison, Theodore, Amelia, Luke, Emma, Quinn, Naya. He was predeceased by his son Barry and his sisters Enid McGuire and Marion Baker.
Andy was born at and lived his whole life on the family farm outside of Spencerville. Hockey team owner, Spencerville fair president, lifelong farmer, and a good neighbor. Andy worked to the very end, stoking the fire, picking stones and checking the fields in his Kubota with his trusted companions Theo and Rocco.

Funeral Arrangements

Visitation will be held at Spencerville United Church on Saturday, June 13th from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will be at Spencerville Union Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend the supper reception to be held at Spencerville United Church immediately following the interment.  Donations to Spencerville United Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
