Barry Carruthers

Passed away suddenly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Friday July 3, 2026, Barry Carruthers of Finch, age 73. Loving husband of Barbara Carruthers (nee Beaudette) for 49 years.  Loving father of Andrew R. Carruthers of Finch and Adam J.F. Carruthers (Kelly) of Metcalfe. Barry will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter Madison Carruthers.  Barry is survived by his sisters Diane Campbell and Bonnie Duff and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Ford and Darlene Carruthers (nee Meldrum).

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Friday, July 10th from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at  11 a.m.  Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery.  A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville.  Donations to Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
