Betty Black

Passed away peacefully at the Sandfield Place Nursing Home in Cornwall on Monday, March 23, 2026, Betty Black (nee Dwight), formerly of Lunenburg and Morrisburg, age 90.  Loving mother of Jennifer Bazinet (Pierre) of Ingleside and Julia Gambill (Doug Froats) of Ingleside.  Betty will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brett, Annie, Jacob, Caleb and her great-grandchildren Ella, Jamie, Remi and Casey.  She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Emma Dwight (nee Cole), her sister Berneice Eastman (Justin) and her brothers Kenneth Dwight (Helen), Gordon Dwight (Elaine) and Peter Dwight.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment of cremated remains will be at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lunenburg.  Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
