Bohumir Paul Fodrek

On May 14, 2026, Bohumir 'Bo' or 'Bohus' Fodrek, of Ingleside, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, at St. Joseph's Villa in Cornwall, at the age of 80 years old, after a long illness of primary progressive aphasia and fronto-temporal dementia.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Maureen (nee Maule); children Elise Francis of Ingleside, Kathleen Francis (Nigel) of Milton, and David Robert Fodrek of Ottawa; his sister Maria Mikloskova (Jan) of Slovakia; grandchildren Meghann, Kaela, Aiden, Nailah and Kailin; nephew Michael Kunovsky and niece Majka Kunovsky of Switzerland, and nephew Martin Miklosko of Slovakia.
Bo was predeceased by his parents Maria (nee Madarova) and Emmanuel Fodrek, and his sister, Mila Kunovsky.

Funeral Arrangements

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Ingleside, on Friday May 22, 2026, at 11:00am. A reception will follow. Interment of cremated remains will be at the St. Lawrences Valley Union Cemetery in Long Sault.
