Carolyn Towsley

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, June 20, 2026, Carolyn Towsley (nee King), formerly of Cardinal, age 82. Beloved wife of the late Richard Towsley.  Loving mother of Catherine Bannan (Carl Francois) of Cardinal and Janet Bissonnette (Wayne) of Mallorytown.  Dear sister of Elaine Bolton (late Sydney) of Prescott.  Carolyn will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Catie Bannan, Rebecca McArthur (Matthew), Christopher Bissonnette, Timothy Bissonnette, Melissa Bissonnette and her great-grandchildren Hudson Merkley and Adam McArthur.  She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Margaret King (nee Hughes), her daughter Julie Towsley and her brother Larry King.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A private family graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Cardinal.  Donations to Sherwood Park Manor Nursing Home would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
