Clara Joan Cummings

Peacefully at the Dundas Manor Winchester, on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Joan Cummings formerly of Johnstown at the age of 91. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ross Cummings .  Loving mother of Susan McCarthy (Claude Hotte), Ellen Cummings (Yvon Bastien) all of Ottawa and Nancy Palmateer (Larry) of Johnstown. Predeceased by her parents James and Clara Adams (nee Morrow); brothers and sisters; Cecil, Ruth, Mary, Roy, Ralph, Florence, Eileen, George, Morrow and Sybil. Cherished grandmother of Jody (Angela), Darryl (Yesenia), Jennifer (David), Heather, Megan and Natasha and great grandmother of Elisabeth, Tegan, William, Thomas, Victoria and Cameron. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A private graveside service will be held at the Johnstown Cemetery on October 21 at 1pm.  Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
