Danny Strader

Passed away suddenly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 16, 2026, Danny Strader of Brinston, age 64.  Loving companion of Marie Schaub.  Loving father of Dana Strader (Kristofer Du Pont) of Oshawa and Danielle Strader (Colton Wall) of Russell.  Dear brother of Diana Strader (Francois Koury) of Ormstown, P.Q., Randy Strader (Sandra) of Iroquois, Kathy Baldwin (Kevin) of Brinston and Tim Strader (Patty) of Iroquois.  Danny will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Remy, Holland, Addie, Finley and Nellie.  He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Nellie Strader (nee Van Dijck).  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Danny's life will be held at the South Mountain Agricultural Hall on Sunday, October 25th from  1-4 p.m.  Interment of cremated remains will be at Spruce Haven Cemetery in Brinston.  Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
