Deborrah Harper
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved Nanny, mother, wife, aunt and friend, Debbie Harper (nee Rivington) of Kingston, formerly of North Augusta. She passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, March 16 at age 73. Clever and quick witted, she will always be remembered for her charmingly sassy sense of humour and bringing laughter wherever she went. No matter the place, she effortlessly made friends that turned into family with her special ability to make others feel included, understood, and valued. She always offered the wisest of guidance to whoever needed it, with a firm nod and a teasing little grin to show you the love beneath. Nanny was a safe and comforting place for her kids- of all generations. Her daughter, her grandkids, her great grandkids, her nieces and nephews, her school bus kids, the neighbourhood kids, and for all of her four legged friends. She touched the lives of many, and her feisty spirit will live on through and within them.
The Loving wife of Dwight Harper for 55 years, the team drivers were attached at the hip and rarely seen apart. Loving mother of Tammey van Tol (Rick) of Cardinal. Debbie will be remembered deeply and affectionately by her grandchildren Kassondra Tibben (Jack), Austin Tibben (Becky), Montana Wright (Zach), Memphis van Tol, Makaidan van Tol, and her great-grandchildren Alexis and Hendrik Tibben and Desmin Wright. She was predeceased by her parents Neville and Florence Rivington (nee Griffith) and her sisters Diane McWilliams and Dale Rivington. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews.
