Donald Bertrand

Donald Bertrand of Casselman passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the age of 70.  Loving husband of Christiane (née Lévesque) for 44 years.  Loving father of Céline (Mike Everson) and Marie-Josée (Eddie Hogue).  Loving Papi of Arthur "Little One".  Dear brother of Daniel, Madeleine (late Greg Stewart) and Gilles (Kimberly). Dear brother-in-law of Henri-Paul (Anna), Marc (Diane), Renelle (Gerald), Daniel (Line) and Diane.  He is also survived by an abundance of nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Roland and Léona (née Labine) Bertrand.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

Funeral Service will be held at La Paroisse Ste-Euphémie, 716 Principale Street in Casselman on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:30 am with family and friends gathering starting at 9:30 a.m.  Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Liver Foundation at canadahelps.ca would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
