Obituary

Dyanne Perrier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dyanne Lyn Perrier (nee Bertrim), on September 17, 2025. Born on November 23, 1955, in Brockville, Ontario, the middle child of the late Barbara Theobald and Keith Bertrim. Dyanne was greatly loved by her two children, Jennifer (Ryan) and Jason (Marissa) and her four grandchildren, Annabelle and James and Abigael and Emilie and two bonus grandkids, Savannah and Carter. She was predeceased by her much-loved partner of 21 years, Patrick Frankowski, in 2022. She is also survived by her siblings Deborah (George), Donna (Bryan), Janice (Jim) and Keith Jr. (Helen) and her extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be dearly missed by her best friend, Wanda.

Dyanne dedicated her life to taking care of others, especially her two children Jennifer and Jason. Always behind the wheel, she made sure her kids got to every softball practice and game, every Taekwon-Do class, never missing a chance to cheer them on. She balanced home and family with a quiet strength, often putting her own needs aside to ensure her children had every opportunity to grow, succeed and feel loved. She had a deep love for all animals, but dogs held a special place in her heart. There was never a time when she didn't have a loyal companion by her side and she cared for each one with the same devotion she gave to her family. Dyanne was an amazing cook - famous for her Yorkshire puddings, lemon meringue pies and beef stew. Some of her most cherished moments were at the family cottage on Lake Kashwakamak, where she loved relaxing at the end of the dock with a drink in hand, listening to the peaceful call of the loons. Dyanne was always generous and ready to help others, whether it was listening or lending a hand. She moved through her life making sure everyone had what they needed and somehow found the strength to give a little more. She was a wonderful Nana, always showering her grandkids with love, warmth and encouragement. They knew they could always count on her for support, laughter and endless snacks. Her passing has left a profound emptiness in all our hearts.
Lastly, her family would like to say a special thank you to her coworkers at Lactalis in Ingleside for their care, concern and quick action. You were more than colleagues - you were a second family to her. She truly cherished your friendship and looked forward to seeing you all each day.
