Edith Fawcett

Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Edith Fawcett of Morewood, age 83.  Loving mother of Beatrice Legue (Richard), Jeff Fawcett, Gail Roles (Deborah Kelly) and William Fawcett.  Dear sister of Gail Hamilton (late Raymond), Marion Fawcett and Muriel McRoberts (Lloyd). Edith will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren David (Trisha), Jon (Niina), Jeffery (Alison), Sarah (Ryan), Rachel, Victoria, Tiffney, Felisha, Alisha and 14 great-grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Philip and her loyal fur baby Dukey.  She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Dorothy Fawcett, her sister Mildred Hamilton (Keith) and her brothers Carl, Peter, Larry and Garry Fawcett.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Friday, March 6th from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at  11 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Nelson Laprade Center in Chesterville.  Spring interment will be at Spruce Haven Cemetery in Brinston.  Donations to the Diabetes Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
