Elva Collingridge

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elva (nee Heagle) Collingridge on February 26, 2025, at Cornwall Community Hospital, at the age of 97. Elva was born and raised in Gallingertown, beloved daughter of Myrtle (Crites) and Arthur Heagle. She is survived by her sisters Keitha Crites and Norma Crites. She was predeceased by her siblings, Vera (Bryce) Armstrong, Greta (James) Bailey, Thelma (Bill) Moyes, Freda (Don) Harper, Graham (Velma) Heagle, Edna (Bert) Harper, Garnet Heagle and Lyle Heagle. She is survived by her children Richard Collingridge, Brenda Lefave (Robert Brownlee) and predeceased by her sons Mervyn Collingridge, Gordon Collingridge and grandchild James Collingridge. Elva will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Mary (Jeff) MacIntosh, Bradley Lefave, Christine Lefave-Poirier (Luc), Steven Collingridge and Stephanie Lefave. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral service will be held at St. Clare's Anglican Church in Winchester on Tuesday, March 4th at 11am.
