Emily Rose Howat

December 2, 1984 – March 18, 2026

We are heart broken to announce Emily passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. She fought valiantly to regain her health. Emily was the daughter of David and Sheila Howat (nee Coyne) of Crysler. She will be missed by her brothers Ross and his spouse Valerie Howat (nee Grondin) and their children Liam, Khloe, and Aubrey all of Cornwall and  Cameron and his spouse Laura Howat (nee McCauley) and their children Will, Jenny, and Benjamin all of Orleans. Emily will be fondly remembered by the Howat and Coyne Families.

Emily is a graduate of Bishop University from Media Arts Administration. She also studied for a year in London, England at the Royal Holloway University.

We have all valued the support of our many friends. The family would like to thank the many specialists that worked tirelessly to help Emily.

Funeral Arrangements

A private family celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
