Ernest Ward

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, June 5, 2026, Ernie Ward of Brockville, age 85.  Loving husband of Jackie Ward (nee Bissonnette).  Loving father of Christopher Ward (Stephen Cross) of Ottawa and Jill Coridor (Rick) of Barriere, British Columbia.  Dear brother of Walter Ward of Edmonton.  Ernie is survived by his granddaughter Faith Arnold (Jordan) and his great-grandchildren Roselynn and Mallory.  He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Winnifred Ward (nee Hope) and his sister Jean Hare.  He will be fondly remembered by his cousins  Vern and Sara Janes and Bob and Jean Hope as well as his nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal on Friday, June 12th from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Mainsville Cemetery.  A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cardinal.  Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion in Cardinal would be appreciated by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
