William "Garth" Workman

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, Garth Workman of Spencerville, age 75.  Loving companion of Melody McCargar-Toupin.  Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Workman (nee Code).  Proud father of Darryl Workman (Sherry) of Athens, Derrick "Porky" Workman (Angie) of Cardinal and Crystal Workman of Spencerville.  Much loved son of Doreen Workman of Prescott and the late Don Workman.  Dear brother of Marjorie Veltkamp (Casey) of Iroquois, Donna Donnelly (late Bob Kirk) of Beaverton, Marie Selleck (Randy) of Spencerville and Murray Workman "Butch" (Lisa) of Brockville.  Dear brother-in-law of Carol Workman of Spencerville and Sandy Workman (Jeff Nussey) of Iroquois.  Garth will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jordana, Melissa, Katrina, Jennifer, Erica, Levi and J.C.  He was predeceased by his brothers Doug "Cecil" Workman and Greg "Peck" Workman.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Monday, June 3rd from 5-8 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 4th at 11 a.m.  Interment will be at South Gower Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow at the Spencerville United Church.  Donations to Spencerville United Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
