Gary Rombough

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Gary Lynn Rombough of Finch passed away peacefully at St. Vincent's Hospital after a short, but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 62.  Loving brother of Lisa Hope (Jeff) of Metcalfe and Leslie Gauthier (Richard) of Newington. Beloved son of the Late Lynn and Katherine Rombough of Finch.  Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Karli Benson (Jeremy), Darin Hope (Taylor), Erica Gauthier (Ryan) and Logan Gauthier (Taylor).  Gary will be lovingly remembered by his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A heartfelt thank you to our family's Guardian Angel, Hans Bakker. You are such a special person, and your never-ending kindness will never be forgotten.  Also, thank you to his wife, Daphne for her patience and managing Han's calendar which allowed him to keep all his Good Samaritan deeds in order.  We wish to thank the doctors and staff at the General Hospital and    St. Vincent's Hospital for the excellent care, kindness and compassion shown to Gary and our family during a very difficult time.

Funeral Arrangements

A public graveside service will be held at the Finch Community Cemetery on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at 1 p.m.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinsons Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
