Former owner of Davies Brothers in Montreal West and Davies Family Butcher in Morrisburg

Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 3, 2026, George Davies of Morrisburg, age 84.  Loving husband of Nancy Davies (nee Stephen).  Loving father of Lori-Anne Davies (Bryan Cochrane) of Morrisburg and Debbie-Lynne Greer (Stewart) of Trenton.  George will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Stephenie Cochrane, Gareth Cochrane (Tara), Kyle Greer, Kelly Greer, Jadnn Greer, Madison Macklin (Brandon) and his great-grandchildren Mia, Bo, Ty and Alanna.  He was predeceased by his parents George and Margaret Davies (nee Farrington).

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of George's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg on Tuesday, October 20th from 5-8 p.m.  Donations to CHEO would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
