George Kavanaugh

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, George Kavanaugh of Cardinal, age 73. Husband of Sally Kavanaugh (nee Dishaw).  Father of Jodi Hitsman (Art) of Prescott and Amanda Stewart (Greg) of Kingston.  Brother of Matt Kavanaugh (Shirley) and Bob Rice.  George will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Eric and Amber Merkley.  He was predeceased by his parents Kais and Erma Kavanaugh (nee Smirle) and his brother Eric Kavanaugh.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
