Glenna MacIntosh

It is with great sorrow that Glenna MacIntosh (nee Smirle) of Chesterville passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the age of 78. She was the beloved wife of the late Ian MacIntosh and the loving mother of Jeff MacIntosh (Mary) of Winchester, Lonnie MacIntosh of Chesterville and Jason MacIntosh (Audrey) of Russell. A dear sister of Wanda Shanks of Ohio, Wilma Smirle (Ralph Sly) of Elgin, Kathy Stelwagon (Jack) of Markham and Steve Smirle (Liz) of Prescott.  Glenna will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jaryd, Madison, Dawson and Emily.  She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Jean Smirle (nee Blair) and her brother Wayne Smirle.  She is also survived by nieces & nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Glenna's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Saturday, December 16th from 1-4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be gratefully appreciated by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
