Gordon Whittaker

Passed away peacefully at the Wellington House Nursing Home in Prescott on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Gordon Whittaker of Iroquois, age 82.  Loving husband of Mary Whittaker (nee McMillan) for 60 years.  Loving father of Catherine Van Vliet (Larry) of Kemptville and Michael Whittaker (Vanessa) of Tecumseh.  Dear brother-in-law of John McMillan (Marian) of Chesterville and uncle to Tracy (Tim) Ahern of Kanata.  Gordon will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren William, Amelia and James.  He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Edith Whittaker (nee Black) and his brothers Wayne and Albert Whittaker.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Sunday, September 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 30th at 11 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Iroquois.  Donations to the Dundas County Hospice or Wellington House Nursing Home would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".
