Gordon Young

Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, Gordon Young of Winchester, age 69 with his beloved four legged friend Hayley by his side.  He is survived by his daughter Amanda Young of Ottawa, his son Jason Young of Ottawa, his sisters Linda Young (Steve Barkley) of Boucks Hill and Debbie Young of Stittsville and his brothers Duane Young (Pat) of Chesterville and Richard Young of Long Sault.  He was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Lois Young (nee Merkley).  Gordon will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Gordon's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Sunday, May 17th from 2-4 p.m.  Donations to Maple Ridge Cemetery or the O.S.P.C.A.  would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
