Helen Carr

Passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor Nursing Home in Winchester on Thursday, February 13, 2025, Helen Carr, formerly of Chesterville, age 85.  Loving wife of Dalton Carr for 67 years.  Loving mother of Carolyn Ducolon (late Terry) of Winchester, Valerie Carr Racine (Serge) of Winchester and Garen Carr (Erin) of Limoges.  Helen will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Chantelle, Kristin (Lee), Ryan, Bayden (Frankie), Mason (Kat) and her great-grandchildren Logan, Travis, Brianna, Brady, Carter and Spencer.  She was predeceased by her parents Ross and Gladys Young (nee Parker), her sister Lila Mills (Percy) and her brother Doug Young (Lois).  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Friday, February 21st at 1 p.m.  A reception will follow.  Donations to the Dundas Manor Nursing Home or the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".
