Jean Ardeth Young

Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Monday, February 19, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Jean Young (nee Ouderkirk) of Ingleside at the age of 79. Dearly beloved wife of Richard Young and the late Ross Rainey. Beloved mother of Kathy (Richard) of Newington, Danny (Sheila) of Russell, Cindy (David) of Dunbar, Donna (Glen) of Ingleside and Randy of Dunbar. Dear sister of Linda (Nick Deveaux) of Winchester and Brian Ouderkirk of Chesterville, stepmother of Clinton Young (Bonnie). Predeceased by her parents Harold and Sybil Ouderkirk and stepson Ricky (Sylvia) Young. Cherished grandmother of, Ross, Justin, Jaydan, , Amanada, Meagan, Matthew, Brooke, Melissa, Riley, Lyndsay, Dylon, William, Josh, Hunter Atreyu, and great grandmother of Theo, Meadow, Colin, Jane, Teddy, Walter, Harlie and Abby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A private family service will be held at The Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville. A celebration of life will be held for the public at the Finch RCL Br 357 on Friday February 23, from 1-4pm. Donations to the Finch RCL Br # 357 would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
