Ernest Gerald Miller

March 31, 1938-January 20, 2024

It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Jerry on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry is survived by his wife Mary (Roode) of 60 years, daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Waller, Diane (Mark) Jones, Judy Ault, and Tracy Gill. Cherished grampie of Marie Armstrong (Nathan Webber) Ashley (Cole) Hazlitt, and Curtis Jones (Samantha Cole). Also survived by his siblings Vera (Leaman) Fancy, Ronnie (Mary), Russell (Bruce) and sister-in-law Ann Bradford.  Predeceased by his sons-in-law Dean Ault and Terry Gill, his parents Helen (Joudrey) and Lorne Miller, his young daughter Vera Ruth and his siblings Hector, Ray, Harold, and Irene Croft. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

At Jerry's request there will be no funeral services. Donations to the BGH Palliative Care Unit or the OSPCA would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home Cardinal. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
