Joan Parsons - St. Jacques

Passed away peacefully at the Park Place Retirement Residence in Ottawa on Monday, January 26, 2026, Joan Parsons - St. Jacques (nee Laurie) of Nepean, age 82.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas Parsons and the late Raymond St. Jacques.  Loving mother of Michael Parsons, Sherri Pilon (John), Ronald Parsons, Thomas Parsons and Janie Graham (David).  Dear sister of Jack Laurie.  Joan will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren John, Sarah, Kyle, Joni, Mike, Tara, Kayla, Alena, Taylor, Riley and her great-grandchildren Brody, Dean, Mia, Beckhem, Bo, Ben, Ty, Maeve, Lainey and Scottie.  She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Irene Laurie (nee Marshall), her sister Rose Parsons, Heather Giguere, Susie Bowls and her brothers Gerry, Bob and Fred Laurie.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Joan's life will be held in the spring of 2026.  Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
