Joanne Kavanaugh

Peacefully at the Wellington House Nursing Home in Prescott, on Monday, December 11, 2023. Joanne Kavanaugh of Cardinal at the age of 68. Dearly beloved wife of the late John Szotowski. Dear sister of Steve Kavanaugh and Tim Kavanaugh (Gloria Knapp) all of Cardinal. Sister-in-law to Helga Mohamed of BC and Christina Roth (Herman) of Germany. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Olive Kavanaugh, and by her brothers Wayne, Randy and Richie Kavanaugh. Joanne will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews; Tammy, Barbara, Natalie, Taylor, Michaela, Ryan, Erin, Cole, Robbie and great nieces and great nephews. Joanne was an active member of the R.C.L. Br# 105 Cardinal as well as the Ladies Auxillary Cardinal.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal on Tuesday, December 19, from 12 noon until time of the service at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Donations to the Palliative Care unit at the Wellington House Prescott would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
