John Byker

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Hartford Retirement Residence in Morrisburg on Saturday, July 20, 2024, John Byker of Brinston, in his 70th year.  Loving brother of Anna Buter of Morrisburg, Bill (Cindy) of Brinston, Linda Raymond (late Reuben) of Renfrew and Christine Walsh (Steve) of Williamsburg.  Dear brother-in-law of Larry Sloan of Pittston and Ralph Buter of Iroquois.  John will be fondly remembered by 18 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Hendrik and Cornelia Byker (nee Oosse), his infant sister Cornelia Byker, his sister Nancy Sloan, his niece Kelly Buter and his great-nephews Rhys and Sawyer.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Monday July 22nd from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. Interment will be at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg.  Donations to Timothy Christian School or Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
