John Dugan

Passed away peacefully at the Wellington House Nursing Home in Prescott on Thursday, October 10, 2024, John Dugan of Cardinal, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Katherine Dugan (nee Blair) for 59 years. Loving father of Laura Van Camp (Kevin) of Domville, John Dugan (Sheila) of Pittston and Paula Tozer (late Steven) of Domville.  Dear brother of Eva Heafey of Cardinal.  Poppy will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jason (Chelsea), Jordon and his great-grandchildren Carter (Addi), Mayson, Autumn and Sylas.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Ada Dugan (nee Richmire), his daughter Cindy Dugan, his sister Margaret Daw and his brothers Jim, Cecil and Bill Dugan.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Cardinal, on Tuesday, October 15th from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m.  Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland, followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion in Cardinal.    Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
