John Vreman

Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 17, 2025, John Vreman of Williamsburg, age 94.  Loving husband of Mary Vreman (nee Heemskerk) for 72 years. Loving father of Keith Vreman (Diane) of Chatham, Robert Vreman (late Linda) of Williamsburg, Donald Vreman (Lisa) of Williamsburg and Sharon "N'Ann" Vreman (Clark) of Winchester.  Dear father-in-law of Jake Oosterman and Bob Honders.  John will be fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, his daughters Loretta Honders and Ada Oosterman, his grandsons Stephen Honders, Daniel Oosterman, Mark Oosterman and his 7 younger siblings: Henk, Gerrit, Johanna "Dien", Arie, Johan, Wim, and Bennie.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Wednesday, April 23rd from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Interment will be at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg followed by a reception at Cedar Glen Golf Club.  Donations to Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".   Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
