Joseph Cass

Passed away peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, Joe Cass of Chesterville, age 80.  Beloved husband of the late Dianne Cass (nee Bailey) for almost 50 years. Loving father of Kelly Williams (Terry) and Jaime Moore (Jim) of Kemptville.  Dear brother of Larry Cass (Pauline) of Prescott and Brian Cass (Bev) of Maple Ridge, B.C.  Dear brother-in-law of Norma Cass of Chesterville, Steven Bailey (Louise) of Barrhaven and Charles Bailey (late Joan) of Aylmer, P.Q.  Joe will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Stacey (Christopher), Christopher (Danielle), Joshua, Zaurek, Narelle and his great-grandchildren Willow and Colton.  He was predeceased by his parents Garnet and Susie Cass (nee Liscumb), his son Kem Cass and his brother Ronald Cass.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Monday, October 9th from 1-4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church United in Chesterville on Tuesday, October 10th at 11 a.m.  A reception will follow.  Interment of cremated remains will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery.  Donations to Christ Church United would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".   Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
