Katharina Schoening

It is with much sadness that the family of Katharina Schoening (nee Ebner) of Russell announces her sudden passing at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years,  Paul Schoening, her sons Andreas Schoening (Sonya) and her daughters Karen Schoening Thiessen (Richard) and Tanja Duggan (Kevin).

She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Meaghan (Daniel), Aric, Casey, Derik, Riker and Keira.

We love you Mom.

Kitty's celebration of life will be held on November 1, 2025 at 1:30 at 9 Eldon Street in Russell--rain or shine. Her family welcomes friends and Russell neighbours to remember her life.  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
