Obituary

Lynn R. Lanctot
May 11, 1951 – April 15, 2026

Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Lynn R. Lanctot of Russell.  Lynn was the cherished & only son of his predeceased parents John B. & Rose (nee Lalonde) of Cornwall. He is survived by his beloved friend & companion Claudette Killoran (nee Perras) and his three siblings: Edna Lamarche of Terrace, B.C. (late Leonard), Elayne Devine (Patrick) of Stittsville & Mona of Ottawa.  He is also survived by his chosen daughter, Stephanie Roscoe of Oshawa as well as several nieces & nephews.

Lynn accepted his diagnosis of a rare & aggressive cancer with dignity, strength, courage & hope often tinged by his dry & quirky sense of humour.

He will be remembered for his love of fast cars, his Corvettes, but especially his Mustangs, all six, & the thrill of driving each one. Lynn & Claudette always looked forward to & enjoyed spending their winters in Naples, Florida where they made good friends & great memories.

In the garden of memories, in the palace of dreams…..
that is where we shall meet you again.
