Marcus "Max" Van Oers

Passed away peacefully at the Heartwood Nursing Home in Cornwall on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Max Van Oers of Chesterville, age 87.  Loving father of Bryan Van Oers of Winchester, Rick Van Oers (Tanya) of Winchester and Jason Van Oers (Andrea) of Ingleside.  Dear brother of Frits Van Oers (Giselle) of .  Rockland.  Max will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Hailey, Chloe, Lilly and Joshua.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Gertrude Van Oers (nee Renard) and his sister Sjan Verhaeghe.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A private family service will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville. Interment of cremated remains will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Chesterville.  Donations to Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
