Margaret Joan Peters

Peacefully passed away at St. Lawrence Lodge Nursing Home, Brockville, on May 26, 2026, at the age of 82, to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Beloved wife of the late George Peters. Cherished mother of her children from her first marriage to John Frederick Barkley: John Barkley, Steven Barkley (Valerie), Patricia North (Bruce), Marnie Cody (Stephen) and Robert Barkley (Sheryl). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren William Barkley, Ellen Barkley, Peyton Barkley, Duska Barkley, Maratha Barkley, Rebekah Lotfy (Michael), Jeremiah North, Josiah North, Aidan Cody, Ainslee Cody, Seamus Barkley, Thea Barkley, Malachi Barkley, and her great grandchildren Ryder Barkley, Zackery Barkley, Declan Barkley, Avery Barkley, Presley Barkley, Melody Roderick, Jaxon Roderick, Micah Lotfy, and Lydia Lotfy. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Ward, and nephew Gregory Aylett. She was predeceased by her parents Charles Michael Farrell and Florence Louise Farrell.

Funeral Arrangements

There will be no visitation. A private graveside burial service will be held for family members. The Family would like to thank all the caring staff at the Brockville Hospital and St. Lawrence Lodge. Donations to the to the Brockville Hospital Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
