Murray Hains

Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2025, Murray Hains of Ingleside, age 78. Murray died as he had lived, with humour and leaning on his faith in God until the end. Loving husband of Christine Hains (nee Billard).   Dear father of Toby Haywood of Ottawa, Sarah Hains of Hammond, Ryan Hains of Morrisburg, and Dan Hains of Hammond.  Dear brother of Ronnie Hains (Lucie) of Huntington, P.Q. and Shirley Zalopany (late Joe) of Huntington, P.Q.  Murray will  also be remembered by his grandchildren Veronica and Brandon Kinsella-Taillon.  He was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Muriel Hains (nee Smail).  He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.

Funeral Arrangements

The Celebration of Life for Murray will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook on March 1 at 10:30 a.m.  Please sign on to the Newington Wesleyan Church page and the link to the service will appear around 10:30.  A light lunch will follow at St. Matthews Presbyterian Church in Ingleside. Donations to the Newington Wesleyan Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
