Nathan McDonell

Passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Nathan McDonell of Red Deer, Alberta, formerly of Iroquois, age 36. Beloved son of Fannie McDonell (Rick Pellow) of Iroquois and Darryl McDonell (Elizabeth Locke) of Iroquois.  Loving brother of Natalie McDonell (Eric Jean-Louis) of Long Sault.  Much loved nephew of Gordon Empey (Helene), Judy Fetterly (late Donald), Sharon Duvall (Ralph), Glenn McDonell (Sharron), Claire Locke (Sam), Jane McDonell, Corinne McDonell, Cathy McDonell, Jeanne Gordon (Ian) and Chris McDonell (Lyn).  He is also survived by many cousins and friends in both Iroquois and Red Deer.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Nathan's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg on Sunday, November 8th from 1-4 p.m.  Memories will be shared at 2:30 p.m.  Inurnment will be at Iroquois Point Cemetery.  Donations to J.W. MacIntosh Community Support Services would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
