Nolda Byvelds

Passed away peacefully at the Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence in Stratford on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Nolda Byvelds (nee VanMoorsel), formerly of Williamsburg, age 96.  Belove wife of the late Bill Byvelds and the late Gerry Byvelds.  Loving mother of Margie Byvelds (Pete Wilson) of Tavistock, Reta Byvelds of Stratford and Ed Byvelds (Catherine) of Stratford.  Loving mother-in-law of Christie Byvelds of Kemptville.  Dear sister-in-law of Mary VanMoorsel of Mariatown, Eleanor VanMoorsel of Fort Saskatchewan and Tony Byvelds (Corrie) of Williamsburg.  Oma will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Sarah (Shane), Bill (Montana), Amanda (Scott), Mark, Owen, Emma, Grant and her great-grandchildren Olivia, Stella, Caleb, Wade, Marek, Matilda, Lyla and Blake.  She was predeceased by her parents Martinus and Johanna VanMoorsel (nee VanZutphen), her son Pat Byvelds and her brothers Harry VanMoorsel (Diny), Ted VanMoorsel (Catherine), Peter VanMoorsel and Bill VanMoorsel.  Tante Nolda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Tuesday, August 18th from 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Morrisburg, on Wednesday, August 19th at 11 a.m.  A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg.  Interment of cremated remains will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Morrisburg.  Donations to Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
