Patricia MacDonald

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Dundas Manor Nursing Home in Winchester on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Patricia MacDonald (nee Berggren), formerly of Ottawa. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Angus MacDonald.  Loving mother of Judy Toews (Kenneth) of Nepean and Bonnie Elliott (Peter) of Chesterville.  Patricia will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Michael Toews (Sheila), Jordan Toews (Yekta) and her great-grandchildren Thomas, Nora and John.  She was predeceased by her parents Chester and Violet Berggren (nee Withrow), her sisters Frances Mabee, Louise Brown, Mary Berggren and her brothers James "Bud" and Jack Berggren.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Memorial Service will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Saturday, September 7th at   11 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville.  Interment of cremated remains will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery.  Donations to the Dundas Manor or Maple Ridge Cemetery would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
