Perry Robertson
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and friend William Perry Robertson, on October 13, 2026 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. Perry is survived by his sister Lorraine (David), son Mark, daughter Shelley (Robert), grandsons Willem and Kyle and partner Debbie. Throughout his life, Perry wore many hats. He was as a farmer, volunteer firefighter, truck driver, and mechanic, always ready to take on a new challenge or lend a helping hand. A true jack of all trades, he had a knack for fixing things, figuring things out, and getting the job done. Whether it was helping a friend, lending a hand to a neighbor, or tackling a project of his own, he was someone people could always count on. Perry had a love for the simple pleasures in life and had a special appreciation for farm work and tractors, always enjoying the search for his next piece of equipment. He was happiest on the farm when he had something to work on, someone to chat with, or a new project to take on. Perry spent his entire life in Iroquois; the small town he proudly called home. It was more than just a place to live; it was a community he cared deeply about, filled with familiar faces, lifelong connections, and friends who became like family. His willingness to help others and his dependable nature earned him the respect and affection of those who knew him. But above all, Perry was a treasured father and grandfather who leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, resourcefulness, and a willingness to always lend a hand. Though he has peacefully departed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His hands may be at rest, but the good he did, the lives he touched, and the love he gave will live on forever.
