Philip "Fuzz" Henry Dame
Sept 29, 1948 – Sept 18, 2026

Philip Dame, a long-time resident of Finch, passed away peacefully at Bruyere Health Saint - Vincent Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 77.  Beloved brother of William (Bill) Dame (late Louise) of Madoc and Pauline Flegg (late Neil) of Newington. Cherished Uncle of Greg Dame, Chris Dame, Robin Winters (Barry), Steven Flegg (Robin), Sheldon Flegg (Jamie), and Rachel Secours (Patrick). Proud Great-Uncle of Terry, Casey, Matthew, Jordan, Carter, Liam, Ella, Gage, Gillian, Lillian, Louis, Lucy, and Lexi, and great-great-uncle of Jaxon. Philip was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Myrle Dame (née Knight). He is also survived by many cousins.
Philip will be sadly missed by his community and many friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful friends who supported Philip during his final years. Special thanks to David, Alan, Al, Ian, Hans, Bob and the many others whose friendship, kindness, and dedication meant so much to him. Words cannot adequately express our appreciation.
Philip was well known because he worked his entire life at Nestle's in Chesterville.  He was also a member of the Finch Fire Department and the Finch Masonic Lodge.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Philip's life will be held at the Finch Legion on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2-5 p.m. Interment of cremated remains will be at Finch Community Cemetery.  Donations in Philip's memory to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or Bruyere Health Saint - Vincent Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
