Ralph Barkley

Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday, August 13 2026, Ralph Barkley of Williamsburg, in his 88th year.  Beloved husband for 64 years of Anne Barkley (nee Carkner).  Loving father of David (Dana), Jamie (Michelle) and Chris Barkley.  Proud Grandpa of Jenny Bloom-Barkley, Hayden and Jensen Barkley. Honorary Grandpa of Katie Jennings (Tyler). They all knew that Grandpa could fix anything. He was a quiet man of many talents. Son of the late George and Helen Barkley (nee Geggie), brother of Gerry (Sandy), Allen (Beverly) and Linda Dawson.  Brother-in-law of Connie Barton (Phillip), Helen Carkner (Bernard Leveille), Arthur Carkner (Janet) and John Carkner (Lori). Ralph had many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Special cousins are June Armstrong and Judy Rombough.
Ralph was born on the family farm in 1939 and lived there his whole life, where he built a home for his family.

A private family gathering will be held. Donations to Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
