Richard "Pickle" Banfill

Passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Richard "Pickle" Banfill of Iroquois, age 57.  Loving father of Maranda Banfill (Steven) of Ingleside and Camden Banfill of Iroquois.  Dear brother of Frances Banfill (Andre Rocheleau), Bruce Banfill (Helen Johnston) and Karen Banfill (Guillaume Viegas), all of Richmond, Quebec.  Richard will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter Steffanie.  He was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Janet Banfill (nee Henderson).  He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Monday, July 20th from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at Iroquois Point Cemetery.  Donations to the Community Food Share would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".
