Richard "Ness" Elliott

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Richard "Ness" Elliott of Chesterville, age 78.  Beloved husband of the late Jennie Rae Elliott (nee Feeley).  Loving father of Todd, Dean, Troy and Melissa Elliott, all of Chesterville.  Ness will be fondly remembered by his grandsons Connor and Devon.  Dear brother of Sandra Elliott, Terry-Lee "Twig" Belanger, Patsy Young (Duane), Debbie Marriner (Leonard), John "Rogie" (Marian), Randy "Relic" (Kelly), Peter "Rabbit" (Bonnie) and Chris Edgerton.  Dear brother-in-law of Andy Windsor.  He was predeceased by his parents Grant and Alma Elliott (nee Olive), his sister Lynn Windsor and his brother Paul Elliott.  He also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Ness's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Wednesday, October 8th from 1-4 p.m.  Donations to Maple Ridge Cemetery would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".
