Richard Parent

Richard Victor Joseph Parent known to many as " Ottawa Kid", passed away peacefully at his home in Winchester, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, August 31, 2025.  He was 80.
Richard was born August 20, 1945, in Ottawa, where he lived most of his life. Richard was known for his humor and he always made sure that others were taken care of. He enjoyed working on cars and scrap metal. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix.
Richard is survived by his daughters Sabrina (Christopher), Tracy, Lynn and Elizabeth, his sons Daniel and Rob and his grandchildren Noah, Abraham, Christiana, Joey, Josh, Vickey, Jason, Sasha, Andrew, Jamie, Emma, Chloe, Timmy and Shyanne.  He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Helen Parent (nee Holden), his wife Sharon Wood and his grandson Nick Hickey.  He is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements
