Ricki Froats

Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, November 2, 2026, Ricki Froats of Mariatown, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Elaine Froats (nee Baker). Dear father of Dennis Froats of Iroquois and Mark Froats (Lisa) of Prescott. Dear brother of Christine Baldwin (late Brian) of Mariatown. Dear brother-in-law of Connie Froats of Ottawa, Diane Claxton (Allen) of Iroquois, Susan Barber (Don) of Orleans, Richard Baker (Lorri) of Orleans and Ruth Speer (Brian) of Iroquois. Ricki will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brett (Erika), Brody, Luna (Leo), Kurt (Kayla), Cole (Kienni), Ethan (Bronwyn) and his great-grandchildren Carver, Hardy, Payton and Aubree. He was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Beatrice Froats (nee Merkley) and his brother Gary Froats. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Morrisburg. Donations to J.W. MacIntosh Community Support Services would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
