Robert "Bob" John Miltimore
1939-2025
Peacefully on February 27, 2025, Bob passed away at Southbridge in Kemptville at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Ruby (nee Holmes) for 61 years. Loving father of Kim (Kendal) and Jeff (Mary). Cherished grandfather of Krista, Kaleb, Charlotte, Kaitlyn and step-grandfather of Veronica, Rayanna and Gavin Legault. Dear brother of the late Graeme (Joan), the late Doug (Carole), Linda (Guy) and stepbrother of Donnie (Barbara) McMillan and Barry (Noreen) McMillan and brother in-law of the late Reta (late Don), the late Arden (Iva), Janet, Lester (Jeanette), Lyman (Diane). Devotedly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob dedicated much of his career to Nestlé and, in retirement, took great pride in maintaining the Cloverdale Fairways and the Maple Ridge Cemetery. A passionate sports enthusiast, he found joy in playing softball, hockey, and golf, as well as coaching local hockey and softball teams. When not on the field or behind the bench, he was an avid supporter of the Habs and Blue Jays. Beyond sports, Bob loved a good card game, trips to the racetrack, bus trips to Florida, and long walks with his cherished dog, Kiwi. With his quick wit, warm heart, and unwavering kindness, he brought laughter and joy to those around him. Above all, Bob treasured his family, always putting others before himself and leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Hamilton and the many compassionate caregivers for their kindness, respect, and dedicated care.
