Ron Earl
"Sticky"
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Earl, surrounded by his family, on June 17, 2025. Ron lived his life with the throttle wide open. He took great pride in his family and brought love, energy, and humour to every gathering, celebration, and milestone. Survived by his wife, Louise (nee Levere), and their children, Dayna (Steve), Sheena (Corey), and Ryan (Stacy). Loving Grampa to Shelby, Louie, Arlo, and Sophie. A treasured brother to Bonnie Hardy and the late Judy Pyke, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his sister, Beverley, and parents, Dalton and Pearl Earl, who resided in Cardinal for many years. A lover of fishing, hunting, stock car races, and back deck visiting, Ron enjoyed his time outdoors with family and lifelong friends. He had an unbeatable sense of humour, which will live on through countless stories, photos, and cherished memories. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who assisted with Ron's care, especially Dr. Peters, Dr. Thomas, Dr. Ashe, Dr. Jaworski, Nurses Christina, Lexi, Nancy, Penny, Kailyn, Shannon, and the entire BGH Palliative Care team. They would also like to thank family, friends and neighbours who have been a wonderful support over the past months. In honour of Ron, we encourage everyone to live a little faster, laugh a little louder, and never underestimate the power of a good punchline. A Celebration of Life will be held at the St. John's United Church Hall, 2120 Dundas Street, Cardinal, ON K0E 1E0 on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care or I Am Alive Dog Rescue 2801 Rocky Road RR1 Brockville, ON K6V 5T1 Iamalivedogrecue@gmail.com would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family". Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com
