In Loving Memory of Rose Marie Blanchette
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Marie Blanchette, who left this world on June 10, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was the beloved wife of Claude for over 60 wonderful years. A devoted mother to Jim (Jaime), Cindy (Will), and Brenda (Karl), she was also a proud grandmother to Trent (Maja), Alex (Rohit), Missy (Nick), Wes (Rachel), Ryan (Ruth), Brady (Alayna), Charlotte, Graham, and Claire, and a cherished great-grandmother to Colton and Thomas. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support were the heart of her family. She will be remembered as a woman who treasured every moment with her children and grandchildren, always placing their happiness above all else. Rose is survived by her siblings Jean Rasi, Violet Hudson, and Paul Vukobrat. She was predeceased by her brother Jack Lister and sister Florence McKinnon. Rose had a deep love for the Christmas season—a time when her home radiated light, laughter, and joy. Her infectious holiday spirit and the traditions she created will be lovingly carried on for generations. A loyal and generous friend, Rose nurtured lifelong friendships through her shared love of camping, shopping, and dining out. Her warmth extended far beyond her family, touching the lives of many. Rose leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured memories. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
