Roy Meldrum

Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 12, 2024, Roy Meldrum of Chesterville, age 91.  Beloved husband of the late Maralene Meldrum (nee McLean).  Dear brother of Gordon Meldrum (late Joy) of Russell, Glenn Meldrum (late Lauren) of Kenmore and Norma Ross (late Keith) of Ottawa.  Dear brother-in-law of Marilyn Meldrum of Kincardine.  Roy was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Ida Meldrum (nee McIntosh), his daughter Laura-Lee Lalonde, his sisters Gladys Crerar (late Bill) and Helen Meldrum and his brothers Lynn, Raymond, Maynard (late Velma) and Fred Meldrum.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

A public graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of Roy's life at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville.  Donations to Maple Ridge Cemetery or the OSPCA would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".  Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
